Dear Valued Travellers and Friends,

“Memories are the windows that hold the past in view… through them, we can see again each joy we ever knew” by Mary Dawson Hughes.

Hope you are all safe and well during these strange times that we find ourselves in. As this global pandemic forced borders to close and people to stay at home, the world as we know it has changed. Travel – our life and passion – ceased to exist, at least temporarily, and our hearts go out to all the people who have been affected by this unprecedented crisis.

However with goodwill, understanding, a deep commitment to supporting each other over the months ahead, and a determination to see our world come back together again, we will get to the other side of this challenge and return to the life we remember from only some time ago.
We, at Rheom Travel, stand united with you in saying 'dream today, travel tomorrow'.

In times of crisis, everyone needs something to look forward to, and this is where together we can make a difference.
As Spring lights up our days - Keep dreaming travel, start looking ahead and planning. Once our state borders are open there are several opportunities to explore and discover more of our unique and marvelous country of Australia.

Let’s all keep being inspired; give us a call we have many offers on domestic travel and cruise itineraries for 2021 and beyond.

Like many of you, with bitter disappointment, I have had to cancel my holidays with family and the group tour I had organized to the Oberammergau Passion Play. I would love to receive your feedback and look forward to your emails.
Take care of yourself. You can’t pour an empty cup.

Kind regards, Edwina
Oberammergau – A Proud History
The history of the Oberammergau Passion Play begins in 1633. In the midst of the Thirty Years’ War, after months of suffering and dying from the plague, the people of Oberammergau pledged to act out the play of the suffering, death, and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ once every 10 years.
The 42nd Oberammergau Passion Play is postponed due to the current situation caused by the corona pandemic. The premiere is now scheduled for May 14, 2022. Together we now look forward to 2022 and hope to welcome you in Oberammergau.

More Inspiration
Bhutan has been on my bucket list for some time now, I was hoping to have a group up and running for 2021, but this too has been postponed to a later date. I am seeking expressions of interest for travel in 2023.

Bhutan is the land of happiness, with limited tourism numbers, no site is ever overcrowded. Featuring an abundance of peaceful monasteries, with the most famous site, of Tiger's Nest, resting cliffside at over 3000 feet, you won’t be disappointed by the untouched nature of Bhutan. Experience some of the utmost color-filled festivals in the countryside. Bhutan’s unique offerings will intrigue the most avid traveller, rich in culture to the ancient history with the stunning backdrop of the Himalayas.
